In answer to your letter
of yesterday, respecting
the destination of the
Brig Governor Phillip.
I have the honor to state
for the information of
His Excellency the Governor
that the settlement of
Moreton Bay being
barely provisioned
until the end of February
next. I was desirous
of sending there immediately
a six months supply (which
is now in progress of
shipping) in order that
after she had completed
that service she might
be disposible with
the Isabella for a
time - for the sole service
of Norfolk Island.

Moreton Bay touching
at Port Macquarie
