Superintendents of Parks Report for October 1893

To the Hon. the Board of Park Commissioners Seattle Wash

Gentlemen

The work ocurring October upon the City
Parks was as follows; upon Kinnear Park the care
and maintenances of its walks and lawns, constructing
the new bluff outlet walk on the south and completing
the placing of binding material on the walks,
collecting seeds of annual and perennials, care
of the flower beds and borders, taking up
of tender roots bulbs and perennials.

Remodeling of the old beds and new
ones has been begun as also preparing the
ground for The new shrubs trees and plants
to be planted out durring the fall and
winter season.

The City Park work has continued without
interuption. Stumps removed, roots grubbed
ground ploughed, rocks taken off,
and ground made ready to receive the nursery
stock as soon as possible, it will require
all the winter season to plant out the new
