Columbia March 20th 1893
Council met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor C P Hutchinson
presiding, with the following councilmen present Hellenthal,
Voland, Sullivan, Bond amd Willecy
The minutes of the last meeting was read and on motion approved.
Ordinance No 24 establishing datum for the establishing
of orders onf the streets and alleys of the town and on
motionpassed by the council and approved by the Mayor.
Ordinance No 21 relating to the repairing of sidewalks and
crossings and providing for the payment of the costs of
the same by assessment against property owners, read and
on motion passed by the council and approved by the mayor
Ordinance No 22 providing for the grading of streets and
for the payment of same, read and on motion laid on
the table until next meeting.
the petition relating to the Dog Tax was taken up
and after discussion it was moved and carried
to question the ordinance as passed.
Council Voland, Sullivan, Bond and Hellenthal
voting for and Councilman Willancy against the same,
Motion made and carried to adjourne to meet Monday
March 27th 1893
