The bonds of the Treasurer, Clerk, Marshal, and
Police Justice read and on motion they were all
instructed to have the wives of the surities sign the
bonds and the City Attorney and Mayor instructed to
investigate the standing of the surities.
Motion made and carried to instruct the Marshal
to arrest any one seen entering the Town Hall Through
the windows or committing depredation to any
properties of the Town.
Motion made and carried to have Mr. Fred H Peterson
discharged and a demand made on him to surrender
the warrant issued in his favor in the sum of $100.
Motion made and carried that the Attorney and
Mayor Pierson interview the County Commissioners to
try and secure the payment to the Town of the
amount of Road Tax collected by the County and
not turned over to the Town.
On motion a warrant was ordered drawn for $5.00 in favor
of Fred H Peterson in payment in full for his
services as attorney is the suit to reclaim the Park
On motion attorney Thompson and the mayor
are appointed to inspect the books of the Treasurer
and Clerk and report on the same at the next
meeting.
Motion made and carried to adjourn to meet
Saturday Feb 9 at 7:30 at the Town Hall
