Columbia Wash Sept 3d 1898
The town Council of the Town of Coumbia
met in regular adjourned session, mayor
Reeves presiding.
Roll Call answered by Cameron, Osgood
and Hepler.
Minutes of last two sessions read and
approved.
Marshal's report for the month of August
read and accepted and by regular motion
warrants were ordered drawn on the Current
Expense Fund for the several amounts thereis
itemized as individual labor on streets and
roads.
Bill of A H Hepler of .40[cts] for nails read
and accepted and warant ordered drawn
for the same on Current Expense Fund.
Bill of A H Hepler of $3.60 for labor and
material for water pipe connection on
Ferdinand St read and accepted and the
same ordered credited to his water tax.
Franchise for Rainier Beach Ry Co drawn
up by the City Attorney read, but action
on the same was deferred inasmuch as
a note was received from Mr Osgood
stating that he couldnot be present.
Mr V R Pierson duly elected Police Justice
of the Town of Columbia was sworn in
and his oath of office filed with the Clerk
Then by regulation motion Council Adjourned.
