Seattle September 26th 1889.
To the Honorable City Mayor and Council of Seattle
We the undersigned Contractors of Albert Street of Seattle
beg of your honorable Body an extension of 30 days
on account of being unable to obtain lumber for the
Construction of sidewalks and Box Drains & Etc.
in specified time; now sufficent Lumber is promised
us for delivery next week fo fulfill our Contract.
