Board of Education, School Dictrict No 1 King County Washington Office corner of Seventh and Marion Streets Seattle, Aug 20th 1891 Received Aug 19 1891 Board of Public works Seattle - Wash To the Hon Board of Public Works Gentlemen The undersigned, comprising the Seattle Board of Education, respectfully request the immediate extension by the City of the Battery Street sewer from the Center of Fifth Street to the center of Sixth. This is needed for the relief of the Denny School, the largest school building in the State of Washington, which will reopen its doors to the youth of the city early in September.
