TO THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE GREETING: We, The undersigned property owners on Dexter Street, respectfully petition that a re-survey be made on said Street from Depot to Republican, for the reason that we believe the cut between John and Harrison Streets to be unnecessarily deep, and the fill at Harrison too great.

To the Honorable Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle

GENTLEMEN : Your Committee on Streets to whom was referred the petition for a re-survey of Dexter Street beg to report that the grade as now established was made and submitted by the city engineer who now recommends it as a good grade. Also that other property owners on the said street have represented to me that they considdered the grade a good one and would object to any changes. We therefore most respectfully recommend that the petition be rejected.
