A warrant of the Fire Fund for $317.78, owned by George T. Wilson of Meadville Pennsylvania, was stolen from Wilson's safe. A duplicate warrant was requested. The House of Delegates, City Treasurer, and Committee on Claims, requested proof that the warrant was stolen. H. Willis Carr, the original owner of the warrant, submitted a letter with an affidavit as proof of the theft. The Committee on Judiciary asked that the Corporation Council draw up an ordinance.
