Seattle Aug 26 1892

To the honorable body Boards of Alderman of City of Seattle

In the delinquent-tax list published by the City authority of city property the Lot 6 Blk 68. Central Seattle as belonging to Mrs Grace E. Hussey I wrote her and she sent me the money for which I paid but [?] Lot 6 Blk 68, was not hers, she sent the receipt back to me tasking me to refund the money. Or something to that effect, I took it to Mr Ames and he told me I would have to apply to its City Council but I understand you call your Council Boards of Alderman. I showed receipt to your present Acting Mayor as well wrote to Mayor Ronald.
