Council of the City of Seattle
Gentlemen
We the undersigned officers
of Seattle Engine Company No 4 situated at
North Seattle near Front Street & Battery Streets
hereby respectfully petition your
Honorable body for recognition into
the Fire Department of the City of Seattle
in conformity to Ordinance No 543
and request that we may be fully con-
stituted as such company under such
Ordinance
And Whereas this Company was organized
prior to the passage of said ordinance
No 543 & whereas, as such company
your honorable body recognized us
before the passage
of siad ordinance on our petition
heretofore presented, we would therefore
ask that sectionone of said ordinance
be so amended as to include
eattle Engine Company No 4 & will ever
pray etc.
