Seattle Wash Sept 5th 1890

To the Mayor and Council of the City of Seattle We the undersigned Citizens of Seattle and doing business in the vicinity of Cor Main St and R R Ave do hereby petitionyour to have the Fruit Stand on said cor removed as it is regarded by us as a Nuisance in taking up all only about three (3) feet of the Sidewalk on said R R Ave and furthermore the Propriator of said Stand being an able bodied man and having a good trade we think he has no right to be let remain there.
