991004 Mr. President: Your committee on Fire to whom was referred Communication of Board of Fire Commissioner regarding the building of a two story brick fire engine house on South Third St, report, that they fully recognize the advisability of such a building, but in view of the present financial condition of the city, your committee does not feel justified in recommending the city to incur the expense required for such a building at this time.
