Dear Sir
At a meeting of the
Board of Fire Com. held July 9th /91
a motion was passed to the effect that
the Board of Pub Wks be requested
to do the actual purchasing of
all supplies for the Fire Dept.
Claiming that the Fire Dept could
not spare men from their post of duty
to buy goods and ask further that the
Board of Pub Works O.K. all prices
for goods, so purchased instead of
referring them to the Board of Fire Com
for approval.
