Dear Sir:
Referring to the annexed
communication from the Sunset
Telephone & Telegraph Co, which you
refer to me for opinion and report.
I will say that the above mentioned
communication is in reply to a
request sent by me to the board
of Fire Commissioners that we be
given better telephone service
I call your attention to the fact
that the main issue brought up
by me was that we experienced
a great difficulty in holding
ordinary conversation over their
lines between our Engine Houses &
with other depts of city in fact
not a single day passes in
which we do not experience this
