Gentlemen,
For the more efficient working
of the fire Department Telephones, the
Sunset Telephone and Telepgrpah Co submit
the following proposition.
the placing of a Sixteen (16) number switch-
board in Fire Department HEadquarters and
reunning separate lines to each Engine House;
Chief Kellogg and Supt of Fire Alarm Snow to
be placed on same line with Engine House
No2, any other officer now having Telephone
to be placed on line of Engine House nearest
his residence.
There lines to be constructed of No 14
K K covered wire and one line from Central
Office to Headquarters of No 12 K K
UNder this arrangement the present long
line with its different calls for each
Engine House would be discontinued.
