Board of Public Works Jesse F Cochrane, chairman W V Rinehart G H Heilbron F W D Holbrook, secretary Seattle Washington Sept 12 1891 To the Hon the Board of Fire CommisSeattle Wash Gentlemen - In response to your of 10th inst, relative to the erection of Stable at the foot of Madison St, this Board resepctfully represents that authority for the building of said stable will have to be asked of the City Couhncil and will be pleased to know if you desire this Board to make the application for authority to make such Expenditure. So far, authority has only been granted to purchase the lumber. By order of the Board F W D Holdbrook secty
