Honorable the Board of
Public Works of the City of Seattle, Wash
Gentlemen:
Your
Petitioner, whose names are hereunto subscribed
would respectfully represent that;
1st. They are the owners and occupants of
the residences situated on the Southeast and
Southwest conrers, respectivly, ot the street
crossings of Kinnear and Epler Place Queen
Anne Town
.
2nd that said residences were erected in
the year Anno Domini 1888; since which
time they have each contributed the maximum
monthly charge for residences of the First class,
for the recommendation of Water & Service and
supply; - during the earlier years of this period
to the Lake Union Water Co. - and since its pur-
chase by and absorption into the water system of
the City - said monthly charges for the ensuing
Consecutive years have been regularly paid into
the Treasury for the City of Seattle.
3rd That in 1888 when Connection was made
with the Water-main of the Lake Union Water Co
- which was placed Olympic Avenue,
- Nearly one full block distant from said two
residences, - the Connection was made through
