To the Hon the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle Gentlemen Your committee on Fire and Water to whom was referred a Communication from the Supt of Fire Alarm System, concernint the danger to life from contact with wires in the streets through which pass currents of electricity beg to recommend that the Judiciary Committee be instructed to prepare such an Ordinance for the regulation of the poles and wires of all motor, light, telegraph and telephonee Companies as will reduce to a minimum the danger arising for the use of electricity by them and from the mechanical obstruction of the streets of the City by the present hap-hazard methods of constructini in use by the above mentioned Companies.
