I got her released by paying $2.00 to the man who was taking her to the pound, as her escape was not due to any carelessness of mine I do not feel that I should be compelled to pay the fine and hereby respectfully request that you will cause the same to be returned to me. Yours very respectfully Mrs. M. A.
