Accepted Everett, Washington October 15th 1894 To the Honorable, The Mayor and City Council Seattle Wash Gentelmen:- The Citizens of Everett are preparing to hold a celebration on the occassion of the launching of the steel whalebeck steamer "City of Everett" which is to take place in the 24th day of October, 1894 at two o'clock PM The launching of this steamer will be a memorable one in the commercial history of Western Washington and it is earnestly desired that your body will be present on this occassion, and through you we extend a hearty welcome to all the citizens of your city. Arrangements have been made by which transportation can be had a reduced rates. Kindly answer us in reference to the matter, so we can make all possible arrangements for your accomodation.
