To the Honorable the Common Council, or the Board of ) Public Works, of the City of Seattle, Washington. ) We, the undersigned, being resident property owners on Joy Street, between Yesler Avenue and Prince William Street in said City would most respectfully petition and pray your Honorable Body, to cause to be dug and constructed a sewer on said Joy Street, from Prince William Street to and connecting with the main sewer now being constructed on Yesler Avenue; as such an improvement would be of great public utility and benefit to the public health of that portion of the City: For which your petitioners would ever pray.
