A well put in bottom between sills under the Hatch or Man Hole 22 in deep and made tight and secure. A Man Hole in Top of Tank properly arranged with hatch made of 3 in plank with ring and hole in top to lift the same. And be an a level with top of ground. There is to be 2 bulk heads put across the Tank with 8-8 posts along sides under the Girder. The plank secured at end with a 2x4 on each side firmly spiked to side of tank. A Man Hole to be left in each bulkhead at bottom. The mud sills are to be well bedded so to let the cross sills rest on the solid earth. the earth between the mud sills and under the cross sills not to be disturbed- so to have a solid bearing the whole length of sill - also well filled in between to the top of the cross sills with same dirt that is taken out - outside of Tank to be filled with dirt and well tamped down.

know all Men by these Presents: that mr. Moses Keizer, W H Shoudy, An drew Chilberg and Nelson Chilberg are held and firmly bound unto the City of Seattle in the sum of five hundred Dollars, gold coin of the United Statees of America, to be paid to the said City of Seattle for which payment will and truly to be made, we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly & severally firmly by these presents, Sealed with our seal and dated the Seventh day of April AD one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said Moses Keiser hath entered into a contrat with the City of Seattle to build a certain tank of the dimensions of 40 ft long, 16 ft wide, and 8 feet deep, on the Intersection of Cherry and Third Streets, in the City of Seattle for the specified sum of five hundred and ninety nine dollars. Was threfore if said Moses Keiser well and faithfully purforms such contract in due ascordance with the promises thereof and with the specifications thereto attached.
