Seattle Wash Ter. April. 2nd 1885 We the undersigned members of the Womans Christian Temperance Union of Seattle respectfully ask the City Council, to grant to Mrs F. H. Ledger a worthy member of our union the privilege selling from house to house without licence[sic] articles of her own manufacture.
