Special Notice
To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Seattle.
We the undersigned petitioners believing that the best interests of the City of Seattle would be subserved by, and that large revenues could be derived by licensing and allowing amusements under proper restrictions to be carried on and conducted in, and adjoining to places where intoxicating liquors are sold and disposed of, ask that an ordinance be passed licensing amusements to be carried on and conducted in and adjoining such places, under such restrictions as may be deemed advisable, and your petitioners will ever pray.

Mr. President:
Your Committee on Police License and Revenue to whom was referred petition requesting the passage of an Ordinance licensing amusements to be carried on and conducted in places where liquors are sold or disposed of beg to report in favor of such an ordinance which would keep the places so to be regulated under proper control and restrained said petition bearing the signatures of the majority of the best business men of our city.
