Hopeing [sic] and Trusting Gentlemen that you will Act --
Promptly -- And will give to this matter your earliest
Attention;

We Remain As Ever,--

--Yours Most Obedient Servants;
dated at Seattle City County of King State of Washington this
the 10th day of June 1890;

The object of this Petition is not to defeat the Opperation [sic]
of the Law; nor to evade due and proper Taxation;
The Sole Object is for the purpose of correcting any and all
Errors that may be found to Exist; And to Equalize
Valuation, Assesment [sic] and Taxation so that the Burden of
Taxation may be borne Alike -- As in Equity and Justice
they should be borne According to the Amount and Value
of Real Property which each Individual may own and
possess:
