The Special Committee of Garbage reported
as follows: We recommend 1st. For immediate
purposes that the Garbage Scow Service
be increased to three trips daily and that
one extra laborer be employed to assist
the present employee.

2nd. Recommending the consideration of
proposals to be made relating to the
disposal of garbage.

3rd. The Committee have advised with
Dr. Coe and have the matter under
consideration and ask for longer
time before reporting a praticable
system to be adopted.

4th. That they have opened up a
correspondence with Health Officers of
Eastern Cities. Report read and adopted
and same sent to H of D for concurrent action.

Petition of Tuen M. Sing for Laundry at the
intersection of Commercial St. with the track
of the Terminal Railway Co responded favor-
ably on by the Committee on Health and Police.
Report adopted and sent to H of D for
concurrent action.

The Committee on Health & Police recommend
that T. J. Burke be given assistance and motion
made authorizing Mayor White to assist said
petitioner. Carried.

The Committee on Health and Police Report: That
they have examined the reports of Justice
Miller and Justice Rivers for the month of
October 1890 as submitted and find them
Correct. Report read and adopted & sent to
H of D for concurrent action.
