Be it remembered that on this the 7th day of November A.D. 1890 the Board of Aldermen of the City of Seattle meet pursuant to adjournment in the special session. Prest. Geo. W. Hall in the chair: at roll call the following members were present - W. H. Bogardus, F. W. D. Holbrook A. S. Miller F. A. Pontius W. A. Snyder F. W. Ward F. N. Wilcox Mr. Prest: H.E.O. Miller City Clerk Alderman Korn came in shortly after & took his seat:

Motion made to dispense with the reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting at this meeting carried.

The following proceedings are had: On request of Alderman Pontius the original contract now existing between Mr. Williams and the City of Seattle was produced and read as also the Ordinance ratifying said Contract. Alderman Wilcox moved to the lay the matter

over until a week from Monday night November 18, 1890. Seconded - Amended by Alderman Holbrook that the bill be read 3rd time & placed a final passage. Second Amendment lost. Alderman Pontius amended motion to lay same over until Monday Eve next November 18th 1890. Seconded. Alderman Korn offered an amendment to the amendment that a committee of three be appointed to confer with Benezette Williams and plan some settlement with him in full to date. No second. Whereupon Alderman Miller offered an amendment to the amendment that the B of A resolve themselves into a committee of the whole with the B of Public Works and Benezette Williams on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock p.m. Carried.

A motion to take a recess to meet in regular session Monday Eve Nov. 10 1890 and to adjourn until Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock p.m. Nov. 8th 1890 in special session. Adjourned.
