COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE

In favor of adoption, Clancy, Day, McDonald, Rasin, & Wusthoff.
Against adoption none.
Ordered that the Attorney be & is hereby insructed to submit an
Ordinance to fix the Salary of the Fire Warden at $150. a year.
Miscellaneous
Ordered that the Treasurer be & is hereby requested to pay all warrants
in favor of Street Laborers out of any monies not other wise appropri-
ated.
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Friday November
9, 1883 at 7&1/2 o'clock pm

Be it remembered that on this the 9th day of November 1883 the
Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in i ts Council Chamber
pursuant to adjournment.
The following Officers are preesent, to wit: His Honor the Mayor H G
Struve
and Councilmen Thomas Clancy, B F Day, Charles McDonald
and U M Rasin.
Thereupon the following proceedings are had:

From the Seattle Street Railway Co. For the right to construct a street
railway along South 2d, Mill & Front Streets. Referred to Street Committee.
From the Seattle Street Railway Co. For the right to construct a street
railway along Madison from Front to City Limits & along
Mill & West Streets. Referred to Street Committee.
From Geo R Smith et al for a fish stand foot of Washington
Street
