Ordinance No 543", After due consideration said ordinance is adopted
upon thefollowing vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Keenen,
McDonald, Northrup, Rasin, Ranke & Wusthoff. Against Adoption none.
An Ordinance to appropriate $1500.00 to pay off certain indebt-
edness is referred to Judiciary Comtee
On ordinance to extend and establish Madison Street is referred
to Comtee to wit: Wusthoff, Ranke & Clancy
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned

On this the 19th day of May 1884 the Common Council of the City
of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to law as
a Board of Equalization
Present: His Honor the Mayor H G Struve and councilmen
Thos Clancy, B Gen W Harris, John Keenen, Chas McDonald,
no quorum being present council adjourned until Tuesday
May 20, 1884 at 8 o'clock pm

On this the 20th day of May 1884, the Common Council of the City of
Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment
as a Baord of Equalization
The following officers are present to wit: Councilmen Thomas
Clancy
, Geo W Harris, John Keenen, Chas McDonald,Otto Ranke, U M Rasin & F W Wusthoff.
By reason of the absence of His Honor the Mayor H G Struve Council-
man U M Rasin is appointed President of the Council to serve during
such absence of teh Mahyor
