Petition of the Seattle Lumber and Commercial Company
for a lease of Madison Street from Front Street to the
Bay for a period of one year, read and referred to the
Committee on Harbors & Wharves and the Committee pre-
sent a report recommending that the petition be granted,
On motion the matter is laid over without action until the
next regular meeting.
Petition of the Seattle Upholstering and Manufacturing
Company
for the removal of certain cabins from the
foot of Spring Street, read and granted and the Chief of
Police directed to see that said cabins are removed.
Petition of the Seattle Upholstering and Manufacturing
Company
for a lease of a portion of the foot of Spring
Street
for a period of five years, read and referred to the
Street Committee.
