upon his filing a bond in the sum of $4000.00
Report of Street and Judiciary Commitees on petiton for
extending Commercial Street as follows:
''We beg to report that we have examined into the mater
''and would recommend that a wharf be built at the foot
''of Commercial Street extending out as far as Charles St
''and that the street be located and established from Charles
''Street
to the southerly City limits. We would also recom-
''mend that a similar course be pursued with South
''Second Street
we would recommend that the
''request of the petitioner s be granted and that the work
''be done under the supervision of the Committee on Harbor
''and wharves and we further recommend that the City Atty
'' be instructed to submit the proper ordinances in ac-
''cordance herewith." Adopted.
City surveyor submits plans and specifications
for grading and building sidewalks on both sides
of Vine Street from Depot Street to the shore of Elliott
Bay
Referred to Street Committee.
Ordered that Jacob Cowan be permitted to
blast for two weeks.
