home to dinner: the elderly friends all started soon
after dinner for Pipe creek on there way to G. M
we went to town after supper, called at James Russels
and at Isaac's

24^th 6^th day
Clear and cool: Samuel, Debbie, Mary and I went to
Frederick in the afternoon, came home by moonlight,
had a delightful ride, and a nice time altogether.

25^th 7^th day
Clear and pleasant: helped Debbie all morning to get
ready for Howard and Hattie: Samuel and I went to
the office in the afternoon: Howard and Hattie came
about 4 oclock.

26^th 1^st day
Clear and beautiful: Henry came out to breakfast,
all went to meeting: I dined at James, went out to
Pleasant Hill to supper, Isaac, Laurie and Henry went
too. Jimmey Dutton there too.

27^th 2^d day
Clear until toward evening it clouded up: Howard
and Hattie started about half past 12 oclock. Dother
and I went to Farquhar in the afternoon, Samuel went
tosupper, had a very pleasant visit: Henry there too.
