11th mo 1st 5th day
Clear day: Lucy, Mary Lupton, the Russell and I dined
at Richard Plummers: Lucy and called at Aunt
Martha's awhile in the afternoon, then at Gardners and
to Lydia Jefferies to tea: Lizzie Smith went with us.
father and Walter came down this afternoon.

2d 6th day
Clear day: I came home, dined at Avondale, William:
met me: got home about half past 5: Aunt Polly died
this morning about 7 oclock.

3d 7th day
Cloudy most of the day, begun to rain in the afternoon,
rained night fast all the evenng. Mother went to Uncle
Samuels after dinner, father came up in the stage and
stopped there, they came home before supper, Uncle
Samuel came for us about dusk. Lucy Snowden
up awhile in the afternoon.

4th 1st day
Cloudy most of the day: the funeral took place before
meeting, left the house at half past 9 oclock. All the
Ingleside folks, and John Snowden and Frank Jenkins
here to dinner: father and mother staid at Uncle Samuels
'till morning.
