28th 1st day Cloudy until after 3 oclock; some little rain in the morning: Albert Stabler dined here: Henrietta and all her tribe, with Lizzie and Marianna Stabler here in the afternoon. H staid while the others went to the Bible Class: Kate here awhile too.

30th 3d day Clear and widy: father and the young man down at the Annie Hopkins land surveying all day. Lucy came home from Brooke Grove in the afternoon: Emily here to tea the men a Ingleside all day, begun to plant corn there in the afternoon.
