27th 4th mo. 1st day Clear most of the day: finished planting corn about half past 1 oclock father at Hollands store in the afternoon: Lucy at the store and Aunt Sally's in the morning, she and I at Harewood after supper: some thunder about 9 oclock

28th 1st day Cloudy until after 3 oclock; some little rain in the morning: Albert Stabler dined here: Henrietta and all her tribe, with Lizzie and Marianna Stabler here in the afternoon. H staid while the others went to the Bible Class: Kate here awhile too.

29th. 2d. day Clear day: Lucy went to Brooke Grove to spend the day and night: John C.

4^th mo. Durborow came in the stage: father took him to Brooke & Pleasants's shop in the afternnon: Anna Stable here awhile in the afternoon. the men at work at Ingleside: I went to see Aunty Sally awhile in the morning.

30^th 3^d day Clear and widy: father and the young man down at the Annie Hopkins land surveying all day. Lucy came home from Brooke Grove in the afternoon: Emily here to tea the men a Ingleside all day, begun to plant corn there in the afternoon.

5^th month 1^st 4^th day Cloudy a good deal of the day, and windy. Durborow went in the stage: father and mother went to Baltimore: Sally Anee Chandlee dined here, took Lucy home with her

Lucy spent the day a Ingleside: father dined at Walter Brookes, went on to Rockville in the afternoon: Hoe went to Laurel. Juliet Green here cleaning my room and the dining room

7^th 5^th 3^d day CLear until toward evening a cloud with very hard wind about between 6 and 7 oclock: father came home from Rockville at noon: a man named Fulton from near Laurel here to see him. when he came home, here to dinner.
