I suppose Verhoff can patch this drawing
all right. Use thy judgement about
it, without seeing the damage I cannot
tell, but if too strong glue on parts in need
in patching it this drawing is likely to be
wrinkled. If the tear is small a strip
of grounded paper would probably be enough.
Had a nice note from Clarkson today
mentioning having met you.
No letter from John this week but he has
probrarly been very busy so far as I know
he has done nothing about Bacons offer
and I have written him advising him to
write Bacon abut the matter
Shall have dinner tomorrow night with
