here & paid their bill. Afternoon
I went to the mill for flour and
corn meal. Edwd went to the store
& P.O. The wind changed completely
around
, from S.E. to S. &
S.W. to W. and so on after passing
to the N. until it reached S.E.
again about sunset.

It rained this morning
but no continuous hard rain.
Afternoon it was cloudy and
threatening but did not rain.
I rode to Ashton in the afternoon
stage & walked back.
Willie came in his jagger &
took Dora home with him
to call at "Riverside" & spend
the night at "Fairfield."
Saml. Bond Jr. called and
invites Edwd to go home
with him to spend the night,
which he did.
