Rather warmer today, but
still quite cool. I went to the

forenoon & again afternoon.
After dinner Lizzie Scott was
here to see Dora. Willie and
Fanny came after supper and
spent part of the evening.

Ther. THURS. MAY 25th, 1899. Wind
This has been a beautiful
day. Chas. G. Porter called to see
me about the trouble about the
School Trustees & teachers for
the public School. etc. I changed
the electric door bell from the
office door to the door frame, and
had trouble in finding a broken
connection in the wire. Saml.
Bond Jr. called in afternoon, and
located & mended the broken
wire directly. After supper
Willie brought Fanny as far
as "Bloomfield" & left her there
while he came and attended
a gramaphone exhibition
at the Lyceum given for Saml
Bond Jr. calling for Fanny as
he went back to "Fairfield".
