54 [degrees] Foggy & Clear E.& N.E.
Ther. THURS. APRIL. 20th, 1899. Wind
Foggy early this morning, but
cleared off towards noon and
the ballance of the day was
lovely spring weather although
the wind has been E. or N.E.
and still is at bedtime.
Afternoon I walked to Ashton
& back. Willie came & took
supper with us, Edwd going
back with him to "Fairfield" to
spend the night. Many
persons from about here went
to Washington today to see the
"Buffaloe Bill Show", which
is said to be wonderful
in its way, & doubtless is.

53 [degrees] Clear N.E.
Ther. FRI. APRIL 21th, 1899. Wind
Clear and warmer but
a breeze from N.E. all day.
I went to the store & P.O. and to
Fairall's office before lunch.
Afternoon I rode to Dr. A
Stabler to a meeting of the
"Physicians Club." After
supper Edwd & Dora went to a
lecture at the Lyceum and
Harriet went in next door
and staid until I came
home about 9-30 p.m.
