Ther. 30° Wednesday, January 1st Wind N.W.
1 Day Past Clear 364 To Come
Sept. 10, 1901.
Dr. S. American, San Francisco, Cal., says:
"I have for the past three years prescribed Pepto-
Mangan (Gude) in chronic anaemia, chlorosis, convalescene
from fevers, amenorrhoea and similar conditions
with invariably good results. At present I am giving
it in a case of progressive muscular dystrophy, with
much benefit. In 37 years of practice, no medicine has
given me so much satisfaction in similar cases."

Clear & beautiful weather for the
commencement of the new year.
We were all at home all day. Edwd
reached home from "Highland" about
2.15 this a.m. They had a regular
family & kindred gathering & feast
at Mrs Robison's. Edwd went over
there for a time to do something for
the telephone "switch board." After
supper I walked up to the store and
to Fairall's office.
