6 Month 1 st 1895 . The Enterprise Club met at the home of Wm. M. Canby ; this being an excessively hot day the Club was unusually late late coming together, and it was nearly 6 o'clock when we Started on our round of inspection, first entering the garden where we found every thing in the way of fruits and v[e?]g[a?]tables in first class condition. The stawberrys were well tested as to quality. A Clover field nearby was looking unusually well Also a piece of Corn ground set to timothy gave evidence of making a fine crop of hay. The wheat was hardly up to the general standard of this farm. A flock of sheep which had given exceptionally fine returns, amounting to over $ 7 per head for lambs & wool, was much admired by all. On returning to the house we were induced to put business aside and partake of a bountiful supper, which was much enjoyed , even though the weather was at white heat. The usual minutes of past meeting were read and the following questions discussed.

1 st A report of Comm. on Washington Market which was recieved and Corum Continued .
