Our meeting was unusually large there
being only two families missing, ie from White
Hall and Longwood. Our guests were Richard
and Edith Bentley Annie Miller Shoemaker

and Annie Farquhar Brooke

The specimens were, from Brooke
Grove a bouquet of elegant Black Prince
roses large onions and peas with pods
formed. from Longwood a dish of flowers
in which a cluster of elegant Mareschal
Neil roses and Pelargoniums
shown conspicuous, from Springdale
wild flowers, from Riverside flowers
a ripe strawberry and fine asparagus
from Fulford pea pods 2 inches
long potatoes size of a walnut
and beans; from Rockland, salsify beets
beans carrot parsnips; from Hermon
asparagus corn a foot high pea pods
1 3/4 inches long green strawberries size
of chinquipins. Tomato 2 feet high
with fruit set. from Sharon beautiful
