very much, she is a great improvement over
Carrie. We have no cook for the summer _
Elizabeth leaves the last of May. We have tried
two _ but failed _ We do not know of any board-
ers _ We heard yesterday of the arrival of Little
Dorothy Stabler _ Clara's child _ Aunt Connie
was in a great state of suspense as it has been
expected for more than a week. they are doing
very well. Walter says he had not had much
experience in babies, but he can not say it is
pretty. Aunt Connie expects to go on as soon as the
nurse leaves _ and will look after Walter while
Clara and baby are in the country this summer -

2nd day _ Eliza wrote for Mother this morn
as all of them have colds; none of them
much sick _ Will write a card.
I did not say two of us ought not to
be home without earning any thing. I said
right away; thee ought to rest _ if either

@jbdahmen: I think you are correct with "Little" - her change from a lower-case "l" to uppercase obscured the "i" and the way the cross of her "t" is often disjoint complicated things.
However, I still only see one "n" in "Conie".
