their air an agitation of the question of the extension of
the business limits of the Grove, and the spirit of the ag-
itators seemed to be to secure this by indirection and
looking to a removal of all restrictions.
Happily this has been settled to meet all present
demands in this direction by the lawful exten-
sion of the business limits.

Some abuses of Sunday opening have been
called to notice and the town trustees have passed an
ordinance to meet this. It is feared that this ordi-
nance is not quite effective and a stronger
ordinance is now with that body ready for
passage. The matter will be pressed where the new
ordinance is ready unless the abuse ceases.
The general situation is encouraging and the
Grove is enjoying a good degree of prosperity with
promise of a large increase of wider interest in
the near future.

Respectfully submitted
Thos [Felben]
