of dollar is sure going down - I don't know when to exchange. Banks are closed today because some decision is being made about the dollar. I hope it goes up.

Tomorrow night I got to a Birthday party with this Ewalt german guy. Yuck. He's nice but its still going to be horribly awkward. Wendy Ramage (RA at MAdera last year) will be there too. Hope she'll talk to me. Yuck. I wish I could say no. You would say it's good for me.

Have you heard anything about [Igo?]? Anything new?

Spring quarter is going to go really fast. Good weather and lots of travelling. There are good eating spots around here if that makes any difference as to whether you [are?] going to come or not. You should come. Have you heard anything about the fares for flights back? When do they go down? [In?] March, wasn't it? That was a good letter you sent. I'm writing pretty often right? Good of Anne.
