This place is nice. But the weather is horrible. Very cold but no snow, just a lot of wet fog. The view would be nice if you could see. My room is very teeny weeny sized, but OK. The food served here is horrible. You would starve. Breakfast: cold bread (sometimes butter and jam), shot glass of O.J, hard-boiled egg or cornflakes. I will very rarely attend breakfast. Lunch: biggest meal: crummy soup always the same tasting no matter what's in it. Some greasy meat and cold type potato something. Pudding usually for dessert. Dinner: same soup and 1 other course. Yogurt (good) or ice-cream or 1 something for dessert. Overall, it was fattening and crummy. My [Su's] can't last much longer. Boy the food and weather and landscpae would be I bet much better at home. There's not much to do here on the Burg. Hike around or walk into town (15 min.) is fun. Mar. 1-4 trip to East Germany. Feb. 2-8 to Rome. will write about them. Can't wait for Bruce's car (Jan. 26 pick-up). I want to go somewhere. Betty and Parisians, how long are you going to be in Paris?(the first time there?) I bet I can take a week off. I hope so. There's supposed to be great restaurants near here. Will try it. I'm going to wait till [sunny?] for [camping?]. Let anybody read this. (Mary and Mecias etc.)
