Annie Mary (Schlageter) Lathrop (1868-1947) was the second wife of Charles Gardner Lathrop, married on January 19, 1893. She was therefore the sister-in-law of Jane Lathrop Stanford. Annie and Charles selected the site and planned the building of their home on the Stanford campus, "Alta Vista", where they lived with their daughter Hermina Gardner Lathrop.
