Wm. R. Camp

William Roswell Camp (1873-1934) matriculated at Stanford Sep. 1896, A.B. Economics Stanford '09, graduate work at Stanford, then received Ph.D. University of Missouri in 1918, dissertation title "Limitations of the Ricardian Theory of Rent". He continued to research agricultural economics while a professor at Lombard College, North Carolina State College and University of California Berekeley, applying Veblenian economics learned from his close association with Thorstein Veblen, an Associate Professor of Economics at Stanford during Camp's undergraduate years (1906-1909).
