Mr Herrin

William Franklin Herrin (1854-1927) was a lawyer who served as Chief Counsel for the Southern Pacific Railroad. He was peripherally involved in a bribery scheme where the campaign manager for Ulysses S. Grant Jr. had donated money to the campaigns of state legislators to influence them to vote for Grant in the 1898 legislative selection for U.S. Senator from California.
