Mr. Scott Brook

Arthur Linley Scott Brook (1868-1847) was a New Zealander who was appointed first organist of Stanford Memorial Church in late 1901, more than a year before the delayed dedication of the church. He organized and directed a choir in addition to playing the organ. At the end of 1903 he was commissioned to install the organ for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, so he took a leave from the University, but later sent his resignation.
